It is the longest poem I ever read. And it is so hard to understand that I am really confused. The narrator of the poem is J. Alfred Prufrock. He tries to tell the readers his feeling when he goes to a party. It is in the evening, he passes through streets to make a visit. People there are talking about Michelangelo, which means they are in noble class. And I can sense he does not like this atmosphere. He asks himself whether he has the courage to rebel and change the situation. But at last, I guess he does not make it. Throughout the whole poem, the narrator does not talk about his love story. However, I believe person like him, has no possible to purchase his true love. He mentioned the women are talking about Michelangelo twice. He really wants to grasp his own love, but woman here are so sophistic or fake. So I guess his love might be a tragic story.
