Macbeth 2

I wonder why Shakespeare takes the advantage of three witches to foretell the fate of Macbeth. If the whole story eliminates all the parts of witches, I believe the story could also be feasible and reliable.  Then Macbeth could essentially know what a dark person he is instead of blame others including three witches and his wife for his operating the murdering of the King.  The presentation of witches is full of mysterious which absolutely decrease the reality of the story.  Why does Shakespeare prefer to use such a clue for the fate of Macbeth? I could not figure it our till now.
